PACED SOCIAL SKILLS
A 16-week social skills intervention for motivated young adults who are interested in learning ways to make and keep friends. This adapted version of our PEERS® Social Skills Program is intended for people who need extra support while learning. We spend extra time reviewing and practicing key lessons. Learners are taught important social skills and are given the opportunity to practice these skills in the session. Caregivers (parents, day staff, home providers, etc.) learn how to assist their young adult in making and keeping friends by providing feedback through coaching during weekly socialization homework assignments.
