Internet Safety
A 12-week evidence-based safety and social skills building program for motivated young adults who are interested in improving utilizing skills to help them navigate technology, with a primary goal of increasing safe practices and appropriate social interactions. Sessions will discuss basic concepts related to downloading content, maintaining passwords, avoiding illegal activity, and securing private information. Participants are taught important social and safety skills and are given the opportunity to practice these skills in session. In addition to 12 weekly sessions, participants receive pre- and post-assessments.
